IELTS Speaking Part 2 Questions – Topic: Being alone – Spending time by yourself
- Do you like to be alone?
Yes, as I am more of an introvert (someone who is quite, shy, likes spending time alone rather than communicating with others), I really enjoy keeping myself to myself (stay on your own most of the time and do not mix socially with other people) so I can do whatever I want without being disturbed by others.
- When was the last time you were alone and what did you do then?
Maybe it was a couple of weeks ago when my family attended a wedding party, at that time I was by myself, preparing my favorite dishes and enjoying a cup of wine.
- What do you do when you are alone?
Well, I am a guitar aficionado (someone who likes to do something and have deep knowledge and ability to do it), so whenever I am alone, I usually immerse myself in (to spend most of your time doing something) playing the guitar. This really helps refresh my mind and stave off (to stop something from happening) my boredom.
