Well, I would like to talk about my little sister, Anna, who is one of the most inspirational (giving the enthusiasm to do/ create something) teenagers that I have ever known in my life. My sister is 17 years old; she is so small that people usually mistake her for a 13-year-old girl. She has always been a well-behaved (polite, gentle) girl since she was young. Unlike many teenagers her age, my sister is into (=interested in) learning different type of languages. Besides studying English at school, she also devotes her time to learning Korean by herself. She started studying to become multilingual (able to use more than two languages) when she was in secondary school. Therefore, she can speak Korean and English fluently and her Korean skills are improving dramatically (in a impressive way) day by day. She is now able to communicate with Korean people for common conversation. When being asked why she wanted to learn Korean, she told me that the reason is because of her favorite boyband in Korea. I was totally surprised at her simple answer, since (=because) I always thought that one needs a bigger reason to achieve something. At a very young age, through her determination to master (to learn sth thoroughly to know / do it very well) different languages, my little sister has given me such a great motivation (enthusiasm for doing sth) to achieve any goal, just like an old saying: “When there’s a will, there’s a way” (if someone is determined enough, he/she can find a way to achieve what he/she wants).
