IELTS Speaking Part 1 Topic: Alone (for January – April 2019)
1. When was the last time you were alone?
It was just a week ago when all of my family members had a trip to Ho Chi Minh City to attend my cousin’s wedding. I was up to my ears preparing for the final exam and had to stay home alone for 3 days.
2. What do you like to do when you are alone?
I would love to chill out by reading a book when no one is around as I am easily distracted even by very small noise. Besides, I would love to cook by myself because no one would be there to laugh at my unsuccessful dishes.
3. Do you wish to have more time alone?
No, I don’t. I love being together with everyone in my family and also my close friends. I think life would be tedious and boring if we have to do everything alone.
4. Is it important to have some time alone?
Yes, it is. Solitude allows us to improve concentration and enhance productivity. We can work faster and more effectively if we don’t have to face with any distractions and interruptions.
