I like watching TV in my free time and there are many shows that I like to watch. Today, I would like to talk about a quiz show which I like to watch. The name of the show is ‘Bournvita Quiz contest’.
It is hosted by Dereck O’Brien. The sponsor of this show is Cadbury India. In this quiz contest, students from different schools from across India participate. The questions are from different topics ranging from Science to Entertainment. The winners get an Apple Ipad and a gift hamper from Cadbury. I find this show very interesting because it helps increase my knowledge about various topics. It is also very exciting to watch students from all parts of India compete. I am amazed to see young children with such vast knowledge about various topics. It is very motivating and encouraging for students.
This show has changed its format with time. It started as a live quiz show in 1972. It was held live in different cities. Then it became a radio show and in 1992 it was broadcast on TV. Now there is an app through which everyone can participate in this quiz contest. They even have this show on YouTube where we can participate live. Now I can watch the show and also participate in it through the app. My friends and I also sometimes compete with each other. I think this is one of the best quiz shows.
