1. What is your favorite festival?
(Answer) I love New Year Eve the most, because it is the biggest festival of the year with the whole country downing tools for family get-togethers. It is also considered the best occasion for family members to return home and get together.

2. How do you celebrate the festival?
(Answer) I celebrate each festival by choosing to feel happy, lighthearted, joyful, and reaching out to share these sentiments with my family members and friends. (Give a reason for your answer) I just want to get out and explore the festive spirit in the streets with my beloved people. For example, every year on New Year Eve, my family go for a stroll through the neighborhood to see how people are celebrating, and every year, we end up drinking ourselves silly and having an amazing time – one that we never would’ve expected beforehand.

3. Do you like Western festivals?
(Answer) Yes, I quite enjoy them.
(Give a reason for your answer) The Western festive atmosphere enables me to feel cozy and comfortable. There is also an increasing number of people joining the celebration. Personally, the pursuit of pleasure rooted in Western festivals is widely accepted by most people in my nation who intend to relax and escape their fast pace of living and relieve stress.

5. Where do people usually go during festival?
(Answer) There are many places that people usually go to during festivals.
(Give a reason for your answer) Public places would be many people’s favorite choice, and for some families, they want to go to places where the weather is neither too cold nor too hot, where the foliage of trees has turned yellow or red, which offer picturesque views.

1. What public holidays do you have in your country?

Well, Public holidays in Canada are also known as Statutory Holidays or stats holidays. There are several public holidays, to name a few are the New Year, Easter Monday, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day, Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, Remembrance Day, and Boxing Day.

2. Which public holidays do you like the most?

The obvious answer is Christmas as I get a chance to reunite with everyone in my family. Usually, my father invites a few friends and relatives to celebrate and enjoy each other’s company on Christmas day. Moreover, we give each other extravagant gifts and forget our differences. Thus, without a doubt, Christmas is a wonderful time of the year.

3. What was the best holiday of your life?

One of the best holidays of my life was when I visited the most exotic place, Maldives. I had a very exhilarating experience at the island, where I witnessed the spectacular sandy beaches, turquoise waters, and amazing views. In addition, I enjoyed snorkeling, surfing, and various other activities. Moreover, everyone I met on the island was very welcoming and hospitable. Overall, I had a very good time, and I made some amazing memories.

4. Do you like to spend the holidays with your family or friends?

Of course, I like to spend the holidays with my family and friends, but it depends on the type of holiday. That being said, if it’s a Christmas holiday, I’d spend it with my family, but if it’s a New Year party, I’d definitely spend and enjoy my time with my friends.
