1. Do you feel nervous when you travel to new places?
Yes, I suffer from (to experience sth very unpleasant) great anxiety when travel, but it can catch up with (to start to have an effect on someone) me once I’m on the road. I am always terribly worried about the accommodation, the discomfort of being in an unfamiliar place where I do not know the language or people in the area.
2. Can you read a map when you travel to new places?
Yes. I always use map when I visit new places. When I come up with (=to think of sth such as a plan or an idea) a travel plan and pick some destinations, maps will definitely help me decide the journey I want to take to get there. This stage is even more satisfying if I have a paper map and can physically trace my finger across it and then mark it with a pen.
3. Have you ever helped someone who got lost?
Well, I haven’t met anyone who got lost before. If there was a chance, of course I would be happy to help them find the right track.
