1. Do you like animals?
Yes, as someone who appreciates the creation of Mother Nature, I have a special love for animals, especially dogs, cats and kangaroos.
2. What’s your favourite animal? Why?
My favourite animal is a dog because not only are they cute but they are also quite smart. Sometimes, I can feel the emotional connection between dogs and myself, which makes dogs stand out from other animals.
3. Are people in your country fond of animals?
Yes, I think so. As the living standards of the whole population have witnessed such an improvement in recent years, many have adopted the hobby of raising pets, especially dogs and cats. Moreover, an immense number of Facebook pages are dedicated to pets only.

4. What kinds of animals do people have as a pet in your country?
As I mentioned previously, dogs and cats are the most popular kinds of pet that someone can come across in parks in my country. Yet, some people also raise less popular ones such as pythons or snakes, which are relatively dangerous in my opinion.
5. Compared with the past, have there been any changes concerning pets in your country/hometown?
Yes, to be honest. Just some years ago, coming across a husky in my country was infeasible, while at the present, huskies are a lot more common, along with other kinds of fancy pets such as Alaska dogs.
6. Do you think cities are suitable places for raising a pet?
It depends. If it is a vertical city, then the answer is no as raising a pet might be quite bothering for those living in the same block as us. In the of a horizontal city, I think it’s pretty fine to raise one.
7. Do you think children like animals?
Absolutely yes. Animals are a great source of entertainment for children, which are a lot healthier than spending time at computer screens or other technologies.
8. What kinds of animals do you think children like?
Since dogs and cats are child-friendly, I believe that the kids will enjoy spending time around these two kinds of pet. My 8-year-old sister, for example, has never stopped dreaming of having a dog to raise.
9. Did you have any pets when you were a child?
When I was in my childhood, just like my sister, I also wanted a dog. My parents decided to buy one for me and we combined forces to take care of the my family’s beloved pet. Sadly, it was involved in a fatal accident, which made me depressed for 2 months.
10. What was your favourite animal when you were a child?
I loved fish a lot when I was young. Yet, due to the fact that I dreaded to think of holding a fish in my hands, I never thought of rearing this animal.
11. If you have children in the future, will you allow them to raise a pet?
Yes, definitely. I believe that playing with a pet leaves keeping eyes glued to screens for entertainment far behind, so if my children would like to have a pet as their friend, I will not hesitate in letting them have one.
