IELTS Speaking Part 2 Sample Band 8+ in 2021- Topic: A handsome person you have met

Describe a handsome person you have met.

You should say:
– Who that person is
– How you got to know this person
– What he looks like
And explain how you feel about this person.

Band 8+ Sample

(Who that person is) Well, I got to know quite an eye-catching person on my trip to ABC in an outreach programme. Andre, a 17-year-old student from Temasek Junior College, Singapore, is a Chinese Singaporean with an attractive physical appearance as well as kind and nice personality traits.

(How you got to know this person) We were on the same trip called the Temasek Overseas Outreach Programme in order to teach English to the children and give the workers a hand with concreting the school yard. We were in the same group, therefore, we had the chance to talk to each other a lot. When first seeing him, it sprang to my mind that he was someone who never had the need to communicate much with others as he was one of the top performers in class as well as looked quite nice. At first, this was pretty much true, yet, the more we worked with each other, the more we got to know one another.

(What he looks like) As I mentioned previously, Andre is a Chinese Singaporean, yet due to the fact that he lives in a country located in an equatorial climate, he does not really look like someone who is from China. Andre, with a fair complexion, curly black hair and typical, small Chinese eyes, is not unique at all. It is his sense of fashion that makes him stand out. Along with what he wears at school, which is so elegant, making him look debonair, the clothes he wears in real life are a big plus. Andre Foo primarily seems to be interested in basic clothes but, occasionally, he mixes his collection up with sophisticated ones.

(And explain how you feel about this person) It was quite lucky to meet him. Andre was the star of the show although he didn’t talk much. Everyone praised him for his excellence in his studies, sports, instruments as well as his physical appearance. If I have the chance to visit Singapore, I will definitely meet him again.
