Topic: Drinking Water

1. How often do you drink water?
As I sweat a lot more than the usual person, which dehydrates my body and makes me feel dizzy, I have to drink water every30 minutes. For the whole day, my accumulation of water should reach 3 to 4 litres, which is higher than the recommended standard of 2 litres per day for the majority of people.

2. Do you often drink bottle water or tap water?
As tap water contains a high amount of chemicals albeit at a low and safe level, I prefer bottled water. A majority of the population in Vietnam also prefer bottled water to tap water because it tastes a lot better and is more natural.

3. Why don’t you like drinking tap water?
To be honest, tap water can be relatively dirty due to the fact that the pipeline is not hygienic. When water flows through the pipeline, the dirt inside the pipeline can be trapped in the water and contaminate the water.

4. Why do people pay for bottled water while it is fine to drink tap water?
As I said before, tap water contains a low level of chloride, which makes the water taste quite weird while bottled water is pasteurised with advanced technologies without changing the natural taste of water. Therefore, bottled water is always people’s first choice.
