IELTS Speaking Part 1 Topic: View/Landscape
Is there any beautiful view in your hometown? Is there a beautiful view near your house?
Oh yes, in the vicinity of (near) my house, there is a park designed by Japanese architects.
It’s artfully landscaped, with beautiful paths that lead around a shimmering (bright, shiny) , willow tree-dotted pond. I consider this is the most stunning view in my hometown.
What is the most breathtaking landscape you have ever been?

Well, the only thing that springs to my mind (come to my mind) now is ABC city. I visited the place 6 months ago and my hotel room overlooked (to have a view of something from above) a magnificent (very impressive and beautiful) pine forest. The view was actually really therapeutic (helping to treat or cure illness).
- Do people like to take photos of beautiful views?
I guess they do, simple because it’s a great way to capture the moment so that whenever they look at the pictures, it will give them a nostalgic feeling (remembering happy times in the past) of the places they have been to.
4. Why do people prefer to use mobile phones to take photos of beautiful views?
I guess because it is handy (useful) and portable (small and light enough to be easily carried) than using a proper camera. In addition to that, Phones have cellular and wifi connections, plus apps that can connect to various photo-sharing or social media networks.
