Sample Answer
I’ve come across (find something by chance) several videos in youtube. I subscribed for many cookery videos last year, and interestingly one of the chefs had an interview with Mrs X, a nutritionist (expert in nutrition). It was very impressive (=spectacular, magnificent) that I searched high and low for (search everywhere for sth) her articles on the internet and found that she had a website called “abc.com”. I studied the website every nook and cranny (every part or aspect of something) and found the tips to be very beneficial (=useful) to me. I am also into (=like) the way she has categorised (=classified) the information into “myths”, “truths”, and “facts”. I learnt that if you are craving for (feel a powerful desire for (something) something sinful, like savories and sweets all through the day, you ought to find a healthy alternative (one of two or more available possibilities) and work on analysing why you’ve got such a craving. I also learnt that not all fats are harmful for health. I got to know the difference between trans fat (a type of unsaturated fat associated with various negative health effects) and saturated fat. It was very surprising to know that we need some fats like Omega6 or Omega 3, but it can lead to conditions like a heart attack if we use it too much. Also, I also learnt that being slim doesn’t mean a person is healthy and that we should not judge anyone’s health by their weight. There were many such myths and explanations given which clarified many of my doubts on health. I found the website very informative.

IELTS Speaking Part 3 Questions (Discussion)
Why do different people like to read different magazines?
Tastes differ from person to person. Also, there are magazines for different fields. Tech-savvy ( knowing a lot about modern technology) people read magazines like PC Quest. For general reading, there are some well-known magazines like Reader’s Digest. Those interested in films can read magazines like Filmfare.
What kind of magazines do teenagers like to read?
Generally, they like to read about fitness, sports and movies. Some prefer technical stuff. Girls would be interested in (like) reading about what is trending in fashion.
What’s the difference between the news on TV and news in magazines?
On the television, you just get a gist (=main point) of the news. But in magazines, it will be analyzed in detail. There would be an exhaustive coverage (the reporting of news and sport in the media) provided. For example, in case of a murder, news on TV would just brief that such a thing has happened, whereas in magazines they probe (=explore) into the causes, analyze various factors, and it would be more or less like a detective report.
Do you think the people today are healthier than those in the past?
Even when there are many campaigns on health, and there is increased awareness (knowledge/ perception of a fact or situation), the average lifespan ( the length of time a thing functions or person or animal lives) has decreased. People of yesteryears (last years) lived until their nineties. Now sixty has become the average age. Though medical facilities have improved (develop, enhance), people today suffer from a lot of diseases.
